Why have you invoiced me twice for the same thing? Print

We don't invoice you multiple times for the same thing.

The most common confusion around this query is that we invoice domains and hosting accounts (both of which are required for site and mail services to function) separately.

We have to operate in this manner as we offer some hosting packages that can accommodate more then one domain, so there isn't always a 1:1 relationship in effect.

Line items on invoices that we email you, and that can be accessed via your account (Billing > My Invoices > Invoice number) detail if the item being charged is a domain or hosting account.

The exception to the above is specific to an opt out offer that was run in 2017, where, if you had a .co.uk domain you'd get the equivalent .uk domain for free for 2 years unless you told us you didn't want to participate. Again, the domain is detailed on the invoice we send.

You'll see the domain ends in .uk instead of .co.uk if this is the case (on the line item on the invoice). If you don't want to renew a domain of this nature, simply reply to the invoice email stating you don't want to renew this domain. You have a 9 day window in which to do so.
